Meet Valeria, Clean Beauty Blogger & Queen Bee of the Conscious Bee Hive
Meet Valeria - a vegan, cruelty-free and clean beauty blogger, Wabi-Sabi Botanicals ambassador, and seriously cool cat lady (crystal water bowls, anyone?) we just love! Valeria loves to share and discover clean, non-toxic beauty products that are safe and loving for you, animals and the environment. You can find her honest product reviews, swoon-worthy rituals, unboxings, and more on her blog, Conscious Bee, Instagram (@conscious_bee) and YouTube channel! We're so excited to have her in the Wabi-Sabi Botanicals family and can't wait to introduce you to her. What inspired you to create Conscious Bee?
I started Conscious Bee as a judgment-free space where anyone can learn about Cruelty-Free, Vegan, and Clean Beauty movements! Going through any change with your beauty collection, whether you’re going cruelty-free or switching to safer products, can certainly be quite time-consuming and frustrating and that is why I wanted to have a page where fellow beauty lovers can learn how to make this transition as smooth as possible. I strive to be a reliable source of information that people can turn to when they have a question about a specific ingredient, company’s ethics, or are in need of product recommendations!
What’s your ultimate goal or big dream?
To be a respectable voice in the Green Beauty community and to hopefully one day open my own store!
How would you describe your skin?
I would describe it as extremely sensitive and reactive. I also am a proud rosacea warrior!
What's your favorite ingredient in skincare?
Tough one! I definitely like straight-forward ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid a lot, but I also really enjoy exploring more exotic ones like Temulawak root and Andiroba oil!
Which Wabi-Sabi Botanicals product do you reach for most often?
Definitely the Blemish Correct serum and the Valley of Light Mask! Both are absolutely incredible products that my skin adores.
Why do you love it?
I love Blemish Correct because it really helps calm down my skin! And as I do have rosacea on my cheeks and jaw-line, balancing out my skin and relieving inflammation is a must! I love Valley of Light because it makes my skin feel very refreshed and toned plus the whole cocoa-masking experience feels like the most wonderful treat!
What’s your ideal #SelfCareSunday?
Ideal Sunday starts with a nice morning walk or a yoga session. Followed by a healthy light brunch with hubs and mid-day couch snuggles with our cats and a movie. A perfect Sunday night would 100% include an extensive pampering skincare routine and a relaxing bath!

Is not sleeping a superpower haha? I need more hours in a day!
